Cancelling/blocking a debit

The seller is the only one who can cancel an operation for which authorization has been given by the cardholder. You can contact them and ask for the charge to be cancelled; Nexi can help you if you have a charge that you think is not yours.

If the expenditure for the authorization requested by the seller is not charged, it is automatically cancelled after a few days.

The speed of the repayment of an amount already charged depends on how much time has elapsed between the operation and the seller’s request for a correction: as soon as it reaches our system, it will be registered in your statement of account.

Refund time depends on the date of the correction request. As soon as it is recorded in our system, it will be shown in your statement of account.

Charge not recognized

Nexi has an Easy Claim service for quick clarification of transactions registered in your statement of account. Sign into your Personal Area and go to Customer Services - Easy Claim or contact Customer Services by phone.

As stated in the Regulations, you have 60 days from receipt of the statement of account to make a complaint or to ask for an explanation of your charges.
