Card Application

To request a new Nexi card you can apply at your Bank or see our website for the range of products.

 

For credit cards, you can have a family card for one or more adult members of the family.
Debit cards and prepaid cards do not envisage the "family" version of the product.

If you have a Card issued by a Partner Bank, to get another International Circuit Visa/Mastercard card simply ask your Bank directly.
If you have a Card requested online on our website, you can request an additional Card directly online.

Renewal

If you have a credit card or a debit card, a few days before the expiry date, you will receive your new Nexi card at your home address, to be used with the same PIN as the previous Card.
Prepaid cards, on the other hand, do not envisage renewal of the Card, and on expiry you must make a new request at your Bank or online on our website.

For credit cards and debit cards, contact Customer Services to check the delivery status of your Nexi card.

The PIN does not change. You can continue to use your old PIN with the new Nexi card.

When your credit or debit card expires, Nexi will automatically send you a new Card for use with the same PIN as the previous Card.
If you have a prepaid card, you must request a new one at your Bank or online on our website.

Duplicate Card

We can send you a duplicate of you credit card urgently within Italy by courier in 72 hours. To request the Card, and for costs and other information, contact Customer Services.

The urgent duplicate service is not provided for debit cards.

In the case of blocking a prepaid card, you must request a new Card from the Bank or online.

If you are abroad, we can send you a provisional emergency replacement credit card. To request the Card, and for costs and other information, contact Customer Services.
The duplicate issue service abroad is not active for debit cards or for prepaid cards. For these, a new request is required.

For credit and debit cards, you can request a duplicate: the Card will have the same number and the same PIN. To request the Card, and for costs and other information, contact your bank.
If your Card is prepaid card and is demagnetized, you must make a new Card request.

A replacement card is a credit or debit card issued to replace a valid damaged/demagnetized Card or a Card with the wrong name on it. The Card will have the same number and the same PIN. To request the Card, and for costs and other information, contact Customer Services.

An emergency replacement card is a temporary card that can be requested if your Card has been blocked when you are abroad. To request the Card, and for costs and other information, contact Customer Services.
